Accessibility Statement
Marketing should be accessible to everyone.
AMB360 wants this website to be straightforward to use for as many people as possible. This statement explains our approach to accessibility, the standard we are working towards and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
01
Our commitment to accessibility
AMB Marketing Limited, trading as AMB360, is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies or navigate the internet in different ways.
Accessibility is not treated as a one-off exercise. Websites change, content is added and technology develops, so maintaining accessibility requires ongoing attention as the AMB360 site evolves.
Our aim is to remove unnecessary barriers and build accessibility into the way the website is designed, developed and maintained.
02
The standard we are working towards
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as the principal technical benchmark for the AMB360 website.
WCAG provides internationally recognised guidance for making digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. It includes requirements relating to areas such as keyboard access, colour contrast, text alternatives, focus visibility, headings, forms, navigation and content that changes or moves.
Stating that we work towards WCAG 2.2 AA does not mean we assume every page is permanently free from accessibility issues. Where we identify a barrier, our approach is to understand it and make a proportionate improvement.
03
What we do to support accessibility
The AMB360 website is designed and developed with accessibility considerations built into the underlying experience. Depending on the page and content, this includes attention to:
- clear page structures and logical heading hierarchies;
- meaningful link and button text;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive controls;
- visible keyboard focus states;
- readable typography, spacing and responsive layouts;
- sufficient colour contrast for important text and controls;
- text alternatives for meaningful images where appropriate;
- forms with understandable labels, instructions and validation;
- layouts that adapt across desktop, tablet and mobile devices; and
- avoiding unnecessary reliance on colour alone to communicate meaning.
We also try to keep language direct and navigation predictable so that people can understand where they are and what action they can take.
04
Using this website
Modern browsers and operating systems provide a range of accessibility features. Depending on your device and software, you may be able to zoom the page, enlarge text, change display settings, navigate using a keyboard, use voice control or access content through a screen reader.
The AMB360 website is intended to remain usable when text is enlarged and when viewed across different screen sizes. Core navigation and interactive elements should also be operable without relying solely on a mouse or touchscreen.
If a particular page, form, document or interaction does not work with the technology you use, please tell us. Real-world feedback is useful because accessibility issues can depend on combinations of browsers, devices and assistive technologies.
05
Known limitations
We are continuing to review the AMB360 website as it is developed and content is added. Some older, externally supplied or technically complex content may not always provide the same level of accessibility as the core website experience.
We do not want to publish a generic list of accessibility failures that have not actually been identified. Where testing identifies a specific known limitation that cannot immediately be corrected, this statement should be updated to describe the issue, who it may affect and, where possible, the alternative available.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not listed here, please report it to us so that we can investigate it.
06
Third-party content and services
Some pages may include or link to content, platforms or functionality provided by third parties. Examples can include embedded media, social platforms, payment services, maps or other external tools.
We do not control the underlying accessibility of third-party websites or services. Where we choose or configure third-party technology, we will consider accessibility where reasonably possible, but the provider may ultimately control how its interface behaves.
If third-party functionality creates a barrier to accessing something you need from AMB360, contact us and we will try to provide the relevant information or service in another reasonable way.
07
Accessibility feedback and alternative formats
If you find part of this website difficult to access, need information in a different format or need assistance completing an online process, email hello@amb360.co.uk.
When reporting an issue, it helps if you tell us which page or feature you were using, what went wrong and, if relevant, the browser, device or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to provide information that is not relevant to the issue.
We will consider reasonable requests for information in an alternative accessible format and will aim to respond in a practical way based on the nature of the request.
08
Assessment and ongoing improvement
Accessibility should be reviewed as part of the normal development and maintenance of the AMB360 website rather than only when this statement is updated.
Our approach can include automated accessibility checks, manual review, keyboard testing and checks against relevant WCAG success criteria. Automated tools are useful for identifying some issues, but they cannot identify every accessibility barrier, so they should not be treated as a complete accessibility assessment on their own.
When significant new functionality or substantial design changes are introduced, accessibility should form part of the review before those changes are considered complete.
